Event Overview

The 2008 AGI Users' Conference enables you to sample dozens of different offerings, all focused on solving problems related to aerospace, defense, and intelligence applications. These areas will be explored within the following event sessions:

  • General Session: Plenary sessions, guest speakers, and more.
  • User Presentations: Users take the stage to share their unique AGI software applications.
  • AGI Technology Zone: Space, defense, intelligence, integration, and collaboration demos, business partner expo, and more.
  • Technical Sessions: AGI's scientific and development gurus spread their savvy during "Under the Hood" seminars; while AGI's product management team will share how and which AGI products can be used for specific application areas.
  • Hands-on Training: Get up to speed on the full spectrum of AGI software capabilities by learning from the pros.
  • Guest Speakers: Keynotes will share their experiences during lunchtime and closing session addresses.
  • Expert Exchange: Pre-schedule a one-on-one meeting with an AGI expert, and then pick their brain at the event (coming this summer).
  • Education Day: Educators and university students can join the AGI Users' Conference for free on Thurs., Oct. 9 from 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. (or just for sessions of their choice*).
    * Due to limited seating, hands-on training classes are not available to Education Day attendees.
  • Information Superhallway: This area will feature information from AGI’s industry associations, educational partners, and various media publications.
  • CEU: Those who attend the full conference can earn three Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from Penn State University. Cost is $20, payable on site (cash or credit card only).

Bonus Activities:

  • Networking Socials: Daily breakfast, lunch, networking receptions, and a themed evening event on Tuesday.
  • Pre-Conference Activities: Arrive on Monday, October 6 to partake in STK Fundamentals training, a Lunar Mission Design Workshop, a Space Situational Awareness Workshop (unclassified, U.S. citizens only), and/or Organizational User Group Meetings.
